The info looks to be about a year old. Speaker Kit Darby’s summary ends in June 2008.
While it is true that starting training during a downturn, then getting experience gets you ready for hiring when it picks up again, when that upturn will be and how big it will be is anyones guess.
I just ran across it recently – need to find an updated version. . . have you seen one?
